As a famous provider of excellent high-techs and good-quality products, Philips has greatly enhanced Chinese people’s welfare. We deeply respect and like Philips.
To clarify or even applaud Philips’ joint IP licensing policies and practices, we should study details of them. Therefore, we plead Philips to provide materials by answering the following questions.

When did they join the group? Please list out the granted patents or pending applications of each member. As far as each patent is concerned, you should list out its scope of protection and related products that could be covered by it. What’s the benefit of joint licensing? Which company launched the joint licensing project firstly? How to evaluate each member’s patent portfolio? How to divide patent royalties collected by 3C group? How to compute and determine such a criteria for dividing royalties? What’s the cross-licensing conditions or clauses among 3C members? Since each member’s output of DVD accessories or DVD players is different and changing all the time, the cross-licensing conditions among 3C members should be changing all the time. Does your company have a contract for such a license? Can you provide us with a copy of it?
